Freebird Semiconductor spearheaded the creation of an innovative gallium-based semiconductor, specifically engineered for satellite applications. These lightweight chips address the aerospace industry’s demand for efficient, high-performance components. The hexagonal design, inspired by the intricate structure of gallium crystals, serves as a distinctive visual representation of the semiconductor’s advanced technology. The inclusion of a drop shadow not only imparts a floating aesthetic, reminiscent of a lightweight crystal but also adds to the overall visual appeal.

LOGO DESIGN

BrewNanny is an internet-connected device that monitors homebrew. This graphic identity inspiration was created around technology and beer.

Flying Cloud Design used cartoon illustration in juxtaposition with an intelligent gadget. We created visuals to appeal to the homebrew crowd and to represent the science behind brewing. Fermenting beer is a closely watched process, as visually represented in the logo, website, and print media.

BrewNanny: What It Is, How It Works

BrewNanny is an Internet of Things (IOT) device which replaces the air-trap on a fermentation bottle or vat. The device senses light, temperature, and CO2 release through an air vent.

BrewNanny captures data into a raspberry pi computer chip on the IOT device, then sends the data to a computer or smart phone. BrewNanny detects changes in the fermentation process, such as a stalled ferment, and notifies the brewer to take action.
